Last Friday, September 12, Clara started walking! She had been scooting around the furniture and taking about 5-6 steps on her own but she is now a full fledged walker. 
I got a couple of great shots last weekend. It's not often that a toddler stays still for this long so I had to take advantage.
We decided to take some friends of ours up to the lake and let Clara hang out with someone her own age. Aaron and Kristy have a daughter Hana who is a month younger than Clara and they had a ball riding in the wagon and running around together.
We went for a walk up in the woods and Aaron found a hollowed out tree stump on the trail. It was just the right size to stick the girls in and take pictures. This one will probably make it on the Christmas card.
It was a beautiful weekend and a great ending to the summer. The next time we visit the trees will be a different color.
