Becky and Clara were sitting on the couch tonight, and Clara kept saying "potty". Becky asked her if she wanted to go sit on the Big Girl Potty, to which Clara replied "yeah". She then slid off the couch and padded in to the bathroom, where she lifted the toilet lid. It was all downhill from there, as Clara sat on the potty and very intently tinkled in to the bowl. Tinkle is serious business, people.For starters, rumors of my blogging demise have been greatly exaggerated (Becky).
It's six below zero outside, and I think I may be the only person in Minnesota who LOVES IT! Our program for turning Clara in to a true Minnesotan continues, we took her for her first sledding adventure on Saturday afternoon! We went with the Harveys, Clara always has a ton of fun hanging out with Nathan and Mathew.
Other than sledding, we're just continuing our Christmas preparations. It's been so much fun actually having an excuse to look through the toy ads now! Clara has already learned how to say "Santa", and she tells us every day that the Christmas Tree is "pretty!" I promise, there will be many more Christmas pictures on the way, we just need to get off our tinsel-coated ho-hos and get a-snappin'!

Ahahahaha, if you blow up that last picture and look at Allie's eyes, she's all, "OMG OMG WTF OMG WTF IT'S TOUCHING ME OMG."
Congrats to the big girl! Now go out and buy some pink lacy big girl pants (for Clara, James... for Clara) and use those as bait... that's what Mom did for me and trust me, it worked. I wanted those like fat kids want Twinkies!
