Whoof! It's Been a While.

So we had a great Christmas and New Years with the respective fams. Spent some time in South Dakota and some time all over this here state of Minnesota.

UPDATE: Becky....is still pregnant.

So this past Saturday we're in the car, heading wayyyyyy up nordt to visit Grandma Watson. Now let's set the stage for what transpires next: at this point, I've been awake for roughly an hour or so, I've got coffee and a donut in hand, and I'm sitting comfortably in the car, reading the paper. Imagine my surprise when I see the headline on an article in the Metro section of the Star & Sickle mentioning that our illustrious governor is planning on merging two State departments together. Imagine further my surprise when I discover that one of the aforementioned departments is the one I WORK FOR! I could go off on a rant, but I'll just behave. For now.

So the big project at home for the next month or two is converting the guest room in to what I'll begin referring to as "The Baby Suite". Or just "The BS" for short. The guest room is going to move downstairs and share space with our desks in the office. So if you come and stay at our house, take heart; the guest room is just around the corner from the beer fridge.

Ah, yes, the nursery! Have at it, Becky!

Oh, and James, you may want to practice the walk from your bedroom to the nursery. Do it half asleep, preferably at some ungodly hour, so that you'll be in good practice when you need to fetch the bambino for a feeding in the middle of the night (or if the little darling just refuses to sleep).

But I wouldn't know a darn thing about that, would I? :)

Miracle of miracles, the boys slept through last night, until 7 a.m. this morning. Go figure.

I think those pack-n-plays are cursed.

Cheers!

Can you please write something about Dad calling John my "special friend" in Watson Family Christmas Letter?

It sounds like John and I are both "differently abled" and have playgroup twice a week.
