Working On It

The little "feathers" on Clara's head continue to grow. We're working on the shampoo mohawk during every bathtime now. I believe this is a right of passage, we all have a photo of ourselves with the same hairdo but I don't think she cares too much. She has enough for a pigtial though! I was so excited when I discovered that she could have a girly decoration in her hair. I swear I could have this girl decked out in pink from head to toe and strangers will still ask "How old is HE?" Hello!! See, the pink! Hopefully this new found piggy will help.
These days Clara has become a picky eater but apparently this is only at home. I asked daycare if they could make me a list of what she would eat for them because I was having trouble and she said "Oh, she'll eat just about anything we put in front of her". Ahhrrrrr! What a stinker, she'll only eat bread and butter and bananas for me. She came home from daycare one day and they had added a check to her t-shirt. Read closely below.I'm planning Clara's first birthday and thought it would be cute for her to wear a tutu. I'd been looking online at these cute "1st Birthday" tutu sets but most websites wanted $40-$50 for them. Well if you know anything about who I am, I can't justify that when I could try to make one. Here it is, rhinestone 1 iron-on for onesie, tulle and ribbon for a tutu...$17 total. Call me if you want one too!! It was SO easy and fast to make. I can't wait to take pictures of her in this.

The food thing is so funny ... you know, she wouldn't eat bananas for me when she was over last week. But, she inhaled raisins and deli turkey. Go figure!

Love the tutu.
